Course Description and CE Hours

Keep up to date with the published literature and review best practices in Shelter Medicine by participating in virtual presentations given weekly throughout each semester by national and international leaders in the field. Each presentation lasts approximately 1 clock hour and participation can be live or by viewing the recordings. Students must attend and review a minimum of 10 presentations each semester in order to receive a Certificate of Completion and 10 CE hours.


RACE logo This program has been approved for 10 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.
 

 


Student Learning Objectives

  • Remain current with recently published literature and the developing best practices of the professional discipline of Shelter Medicine.
  • Reflect on the seminars and submit a brief summary of the key concepts for the practice of Shelter Medicine that were discussed in each presentation.

Enrollment Fees

Cost of Course and Enrollment: $100 per semester for awarding 10 CE Hours.

Enrollment fee is non-refundable. Access to the course ends with the conclusion of the semester. CEUs/CE hours are repeatable, but student must re-enroll each semester.For any additional questions, please contact the Maples Center Administrative Team.
