Distance Education: Veterinary Forensic Sciences

Veterinary Forensic Sciences Distance EducationThe Maples Center for Forensic Medicine announced the start of the first distance education program in veterinary forensic sciences.  The Maples Center, UF College of Medicine, in partnership with the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, has created a distance education program in Veterinary Forensic Sciences.  This program, hosted by the UF Forensic Science Distance Education program, offers a Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Forensic Sciences.  This program was made possible with support from The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). This program is designed to provide students with an emphasis on the application of forensic science and medicine to veterinary medicine and animal related crimes including animal cruelty cases.
