Animal Genetic Analysis

The William R. Maples Center for Forensic Medicine at the University of Florida announces that it now offers forensic genetic analysis to federal, state, and local law enforcement and other entities involved with the investigations of wildlife, livestock, and companion animal crime.

Animal DNA

Genetic services provided by the Maples Center for Forensic Medicine include DNA fingerprinting, gender identification, and species identification which are valuable in cases of dog fighting, mauling, stolen dogs, and wildlife poaching. These services are available to all Federal, State, and Local law enforcement agencies, animal protection and welfare groups, and private industry.
